All in a day's work!

Nothing like the power of incentive to get things done! I scheduled an appointment with the local music studio for Kelsey to have a violin fitting and low and behold she made a LONG list of school work to accomplish yesterday. *Chuckle*
So the first lesson is scheduled for the 18th in which will only happen if everything gets done. Hmm....I wonder how that will turn out. We are making it mother/daughter time so in addition to Kels taking the violin/fiddle I am going to take mandolin lessons. Her face could not possibly have held a bigger smile or it would have burst! To have this time with her and then have some jam sessions later on will be great!

In class for the 3 stooges we continued to learn about the letter "C" and more about Abraham. I read them the story of how Lot choose the greener grass and the selfishness of always wanting what is best. Then we acted out the story with my friend Brooke being Lot and myself being Abraham.

Using their stuffed animals as the sheep.

We also listened to some music that corresponded with the Abraham & Lot story. Well, actually they danced....

Of course Dominic has a doll in his hand and Kayleigh is in her gymnastics outfit at ten in the morning!!  And Adriana ~ well she just prances around like a princess diva!

At the end of the day, after Jason has finished mopping the LR floor *insert the Ode to Joy here* this is how the kids like to hang out with daddy...

He couldn't resist ...she batted her eyes!!

And so ends another day. One that was productive, educational, funny, and tiring all the same. A laundry basket of clean clothes awaits me to fold and more cleaning. Coffee to re-heat, again, and meals to make and freeze. Am I complaining? Not in the least!! I am grateful that Jesus has entrusted these to me and know that too soon this season will pass. May I serve my family joyfully with the knowledge of eternal reward.

Now...excuse me...I have a small butt to change!   ;)

                            and sense enough,
