Baby it's cold outside!!

                 Warming up with this...

I relish this time of night when the stillness is so precious. The sound of nothing and the delight of peaceful faces of our children.

OH AND THE DARN MOUSE SOMEWHERE IN THESE CUPBOARDS!!!!

And, when the baby wakes and I mush my way to make the bottle, am I going to feel that stupid mouse run on my feet? Because, if I do, the entire house-hold will NOT be happy with me. And bless the dog since he will not eat it. I threatened to get a cat. That got shot down ...along with an air shot for the cat. Dude thanks! So in addition to getting some groceries my hubby picked up some mouse poisen. I am not sure how excited about this because this now means I have to see a DEAD mouse. Really?!? A dead mouse?!? Shiver shiver gross!!! So please consider praying for my family in case this dang thing decides to cross me during the night. It will not be a "Silent Night, Holy Night"! More like a ...well you get the idea.   ;)

In other news, Dominic is doing much better than several weeks ago. He had both his tonsils and adnoids removed and was then hospitalized with dehydration/fever. He is not a pleasant little man to live with when sick. He tried to play the "my throat hurts" card when he would get in trouble ...smile... mama don't fall for those though.

The precious baby that is with us decided to be awake Saturday night for a couple hours and I was just so exhausted we didn't go to church. Jason and I were blessed by my sister and a friend of hers to go out and just unwind by ourselves. Those little blessings are so rejuvinating individually and for us as a couple that I ...well...I am blessed!!

I did miss church immensly and need to catch up on the podcast but last sermon was on Hope. I looked up the definition for Hope and this is what it said...
HOPE: to expect with confidence.

Wow! To expect with confidence! What do I Hope for? And not just the "I hope that the mouse don't run across my feet" but the deep, soul-searching kind.

Well, here's a sneak peak.

My hope is in the Lord who is my shelter, my refuge, my strong tower, my deliverer in Him will I seek all of my confidence!

My hope is for my children to dwell in the shelter of the Most High and know His awesome power, the security that is found in Him.

Jeremiah 29:11
"For I know the plans for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you Hope and a future."

May you be aware and blessed by our amazing Father who loves you more than you can think or imagine!!
